Who We Are
VStyle Productions is a Boston-based creative production studio specializing in fashion and storytelling through live experiences and media. We produce work that looks polished, runs smoothly, and brings each client’s vision to life with style and precision.
Our Founder
VStyle Productions was founded by producer, creative director, and host Althea Blackford, a seasoned professional with a background in television production, live event coordination, and fashion show management. Althea is known for her ability to lead productions with calm leadership, strong customer service, and an eye for detail — whether she’s behind the camera or behind the scenes.
The Work
VStyle is best known for producing Boston Caribbean Fashion Week, a signature multi-day fashion platform now entering its 13th year. The studio also created Style It Up, a 30-minute fashion television series produced and hosted by Althea Blackford that aired for 15 years on Boston Neighborhood Network (BNN), spotlighting designers, creatives, and the inside world of fashion in New England.
